SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PAY FOR 1ST, 3rd, AND WEEKEND SHIFTS ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Monitors and intervenes with residents and ensures appropriate, acceptable behaviors are shown, physical and emotional security is assured. Provides direct support to residents in order to meet treatment plan goals in accordance with the policies of the facility and as agreed upon by the individual resident. Is responsible to follow all program schedules including meals, recreation, smoke breaks, groups, and other activities outlined in the policies as changes occur. Completes medication counts as required, and reports issues related to medications, medical, or behavioral health needs of the resident to the Program Manager or designee. Assists in resident admissions as outlined by supervisor and the program's needs. Monitors and documents daily chore completion as designated by supervisor, ensuring cleanliness of facility. Collects specimen to perform urine analysis and conducts Breathalyzer testing. Reports and documents observation accurately and completely. Participates in and meets ethical standards regarding all treatment and documentation practices, Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement procedures, utilization management, and program/client outcomes. Follows all agency policies and procedures including emergency and corporate compliance policies and procedures 100% of the time. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Performs other related work as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Basic knowledge of substance use disorders and the criminal justice system Basic knowledge and understanding of human behavior, attitudes, and motivation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Skill in resolving conflicts and negotiating with others Skill in developing positive and productive participant relationships Ability to develop and maintain accurate, legible, organized records, and to prepare timely reports Ability to plan and organize working time effectively and to meet deadlines Ability to work effectively with persons from diverse cultures and backgrounds and to respect individual differences Ability to handle confidential information appropriate
