The impact you'll have in this role:
As a Quality Engineer in Metrology, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
• Qualify test methods using cross-over, Gauge R&R and Validations.
• Experience in performing calibrations, sending standards to external calibration services, and reviewing documentation of calibration services.
• Qualification and Preventive Maintenance on the installation of new and existing test equipment
• Drafting, reviewing, owning, and approving Calibration and Metrology Documents/Procedures to compliance requirements.
Working closely with production and maintenance teams to perform troubleshooting and resolve equipment/downtime issues.
Your skills and experience / In order for you to succeed in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or manufacturing discipline and (2) two or more years ohandling and knowledge of test equipment and/or Metrology in a private, public, government or military environment experience
OR
High School Diploma/GED and (6) six years of related to handling and knowledge of test equipment and/or Metrology in a private, public, government or military environment experience
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
• Statistical knowledge.
• Knowledge or certification to ISO 17025, USP, NIST, or other calibration standards.
• Prior quality experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
Additional skills/knowledge that could help you be more successful in this role include:

Travel: Can include up to 10% [domestic or international]

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $95,825 - $117,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
