Production Assembler (Manufacturing)
Production Assembler position requires the assembly and packaging of mechanical and electrical assemblies and finished products. Mechanical products include wheel kits assembled using hand, power, and pneumatic tools. Electrical products include metal detectors and cables assembled using hand tools, soldering tools and computer-controlled testing equipment.
Essential Functions:

Assemble electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, by following written, or verbal instructions.Test products using computer-controlled test equipment, cable testers and digital volt meters (DVM)Complete manufacturing and quality documentation including checklists and defect forms.Package and label finished products following procedures.Able to work in an evenly paced environment and perform repetitive work.Optional forklift operation and training.
Work Environment: This job operates in a clean, organized and air-conditioned production area.
Physical Demands:
Then employee is required to complete production tasks sitting or standing during the workday. The ability to use hand tools, light power tools to complete detailed assembly work is required. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities are required by this position that include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel:
Travel is not required.
