While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, it may be occasionally loud enough where hearing protection is required.
Work hours - 5 days, 8 hours a day, with overtime to meet the demands of the job.
Benefits/Salary:
The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation. The salary range for this position is $20.45 to $34.00 per hour.This position is involved directly in the inspection of product after final processing. This position procures samples for dimensional inspection of aerospace parts to ensure conformity to customer drawing requirements.
This position requires review of the customer drawing, measurement of the part using various types of calibration gages such as a micrometer, caliper, comparator, Keyence IM, drop gage, height gage, Go/No-Go gages, etc. Use of precision inspection tools and equipment, ability to read blueprints and procedures are required in the daily activities to ensure acceptance of product to specifications and requirements. Involvement in other inspections, such as, but not limited to, creating non-conforming material reports, receiving inspection and 3 rd party certificate of conformance review.
