Superintendent of Customer Service Installation (Finance)
Position Overview: The Installation Superintendent plans, organizes, directs, and controls the bulk and gaseous supply system installation activities and projects located in Huntsville, AL. This includes staffing needs required to provide on-going product service and support of equipment. Establishes implements and maintains administrative and technical procedures to provide responses after the sale service to internal and external customers. This mid-level management position applies advance technical and managerial knowledge to oversee the implementation of activities geared toward designing and installing safe and reliable supply of gases for customer consumption. Primary activity focus will center on Customer Service and Sales support as it relates to managing and controlling multiple simultaneous projects. Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Implementing and successfully executing defined organizational priorities, plans and objectives. - Overseeing aspects of the organization's safety, quality, financial, personnel and work process controls. - Partnering with cross-functional teams, such as management and sales, to address elevated/complex customer service issues. - Setting priorities for team to ensure task completion; coordinating activities between staff and engineering. - Accountable for implementing all aspects of customer supply systems, including installations and equipment upgrades. - Oversees and coordinates site surveys and site visits for standard and advanced systems. This position will report to the Northeast Region Customer Service Manager. Reporting to the Installation Superintendent will be a team of approximately five employees, comprised of three Installation Technicians, one Project Manager, and a Planner. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree Preferred in a related field is preferred. - 10 years in Operations or related experience - Will require travel up to 50% travel to Northeast Region Service Center locations and customer sites.
