Job Responsibilities:

The primary function of the Regional Security Manager is to assist and support the Security Director in providing a safe and secure work environment and protect the assets of the corporation from robbery, burglary and larceny. Analyze physical risks or threats and evaluate, recommend, and implement solutions to mitigate any risk(s) or threats identified. Assist the Security Director in executive communication including the effectiveness of the Bank's Security Program and filling in for the Director as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages the Regional Security Operations Team and security systems to ensure compliance with the Bank Protection Act and the Bank's Written Security Program.
• Responsible for all surveillance systems, access control including card access and keys, alarm systems, guard force and vendor management, and emergency response
• Manage and Approve Risk Surveys to ensure that any risks identified are properly documented and solution implemented to mitigate the risk. Update the Risk Assessment for the assigned region.
• Incident Management response, investigation, documentation, and analysis. Recommendation of risk-based solutions for any risks identified through analysis. Escalate incidents to Security Director as needed.
• Recommendation, purchase, and implementation of technology/non-technology based solutions that would improve the safety and security of the Bank's employees and customers while reducing costs and increasing operational efficiencies.
• 1Assists department team members in the completion of specialized projects and other assignments as delegated by the Security Director. These include but are not limited to merger and acquisition due diligence, sensitive employee investigations involving the use of covert systems to detect or verify unauthorized activity, coordinating investigation and evaluation of new technologies to support Corporate Security and other business units, etc.
• Work in conjunction with various business units (Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Retail) to implement new systems and create policies and procedures that mitigate any security and/or life safety risk including training of employees with respect to the proper use of security and life safety.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years in a corporate security environment
• Education

HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

• Highly proficient with alarm systems, surveillance systems, access control, guard force management, vendor management, project management, and emergency response protocols.
• A high level working knowledge of IT networked systems and communication protocols.
• Ability to analyze, evaluate, and implement new security systems to enhance the effectiveness of the Bank's security program.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and technical ability.
• Operates effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to direct a team effort to achieve a common goal.
