Position Details:
- Position: Business Office Assistant
- Pay Rate: $28.00-$33.00/hour (above market rates, DOE)
- Schedule: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with billing and collections, including Medicare, CalAIM, and HMO claims.
- Accurately process invoices and follow up on payments to ensure timely collection.
- Maintain organized financial records and support the Business Office Manager as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and insurance providers to address billing inquiries.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Prior experience with skilled nursing facility billing and collections is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Medicare, CalAIM, HMO, and other healthcare reimbursement processes.
