Your Role:
• Provide detailed Civil 3D site modeling and design for various civil engineering projects.
• Prepare design plans, drawings, and specifications for permitting and construction purposes.
• Perform construction management and inspection services as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and project deliverables.
• Conduct occasional field work, including site visits, inspections, and project assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Tetra Tech offices.
• Ensure projects meet company standards and client requirements for quality and timeliness.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree is required.
• Active Florida E.I. (Engineering Intern) or Florida P.E. (Professional Engineer) preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Experience with stormwater modeling software is a plus (e.g., ICPR, HEC-RAS, MODRET).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must possess a Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of permitting processes and construction practices.
• Experience with site grading, drainage design, and utility layout.
• Familiarity with water management and coastal restoration projects.
