Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Counts & Reconciliations: Conduct thorough counts of inventory on the production floor and in the warehouse to ensure accuracy.
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves to facilitate inventory accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Count, weigh, and record material units, ensuring that inventory records are precise and up to date.
- Labeling & Documentation: Attach identifying tags or labels to materials to ensure all items are properly documented and traceable.
- System Adjustments: Enter inventory adjustments and research discrepancies to maintain system integrity.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team and company operations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Basic mathematical skills and understanding of measurement increments (decimals and fractions).
- A positive attitude and a strong team player, eager to contribute to group success.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in a similar role (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of inventory management is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate.
