Aftermarket Sales Representative (Finance)

Highly motivated sales professional responsible for a vertical market territory. The highly motivated individual will be responsible to sell building material and security products as well as installation services to facilities within their vertical market territory.
Essential Functions
• Service the customers with information, pricing and solutions for their commercial door and hardware needs
• Provide quotes and sales orders for walk-in; fax; email; installation etc. customers
• Place orders for special order material
• Set up deliveries for orders
• Process paperwork for the industrial sales team
• Pull hardware for customers
• Discuss jobs with installers and sub-contractors to make sure work runs smoothly
• Work with coordinator to schedule jobs
• Survey and run leads
• Assist with Inventories
• Follow up with customers
• Continuing development of follow-on business from current customers
• Expand current customer base of business through cold calling and direct marketing campaigns
• Responsible for specific unit and volume based sales goals on a monthly review basis
• Prepare sales activity reports, forecast reports and expense tracking
• Work with existing sales representatives
• All other relative duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
• Current and valid US driver's license preferred
• At least 2 years of experience with business-to-business sales required
• At least 2 year of experience with the commercial door an hardware industry required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Professional business image and well-developed presentation skills are a must
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer relation skills
• Proficient computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of door hardware, access control, and locks
• Attainment of sales volume and cultivation of territory potential.
• Achievement of sales goals
• Development and continued maintenance of strong relationships with accounts
• Ability to identify, qualify, and develop target prospects
• Ability to make calls to all buyer levels within an organization to determine use and needs
• Sound judgment and adherence to policy on expenses.
• Timely, accurate and efficient handling of paperwork.
• Successful track record selling services or product solutions to decision-makers in facilities, purchasing, human resources, finance and administration in corporate environments
• Well-developed sales skills in prospecting, qualifying, and closing, gained through experience as well as formal sales training program

Work Environment
This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require business travel.
