Enterprise IT Organization powers Yahoo by providing best in-class equipment, software, support services, and collaboration tools to Yahoo employees globally. Enterprise IT (EIT) is continually looking for ways to improve workforce productivity by delivering high quality processes and technology. Within EIT, we work to shape the workplace of the future by virtualizing services that are traditionally in-person and by enabling our business through Centers of Excellence (CoE) in areas where technology can be leveraged across the company.
A LOT ABOUT YOU
The Vice President (VP) of Enterprise IT (EIT) is an enterprise-wide position that leads one of the core strategic pillars for Yahoo Engineering. You will be responsible for leading and managing the overall strategy and operations of the company's Enterprise IT systems and infrastructure, reaching all employees at the company. You will work closely with many other departments across the company, including business operations, human resources, product engineering teams, platform and infrastructure engineering teams, and data teams, to ensure that the company's IT systems and processes support and enable the company's business objectives.
You will manage a global team of IT professionals, set goals and priorities, and provide guidance and support to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the reliability, security, and performance of the company's IT systems, as well as identifying and implementing new technologies, like ERP platforms, that can improve efficiency and productivity. The EIT function at Yahoo includes the Global Service Desk, serving thousands employees globally.
You must be an experienced strategic leader, a critical thinker rooted in analytics, a technologist, and bring a proven track record of bringing ideas to life. You are comfortable influencing and interfacing with various stakeholders at all levels and across functions. You have high standards for achieving and maintaining customer excellence. You will report directly to the CIO. Some travel may be required.

The compensation for this position ranges from $253,050.00 - $469,950.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
