Oversees Operational Effectiveness at the hospital focusing on productivity, benchmarking process and revenue integrity/charge assurance processes. Works with directors, and staff to ensure ongoing communication and efforts to achieve organizational goal for financial performance.
Provide strategic leadership across the organization to ensure sharing of best practices internally and also externally with compare group participants to significantly impact University Cincinnati Medical Center key results areas, specifically labor, supplies costs and effective charge capture.
The position will be instrumental in continually strengthening the culture of process improvement to "best-in-class" standards to meet organizational financial objectives.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CEBS) is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits analysis, administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
In-depth knowledge of benefits laws and regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with HRIS and benefits administration software.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Employee Benefits (e.g., CEBS, PHR).
Experience with Oracle or other HRIS systems.
Strong presentation skills and experience with public speaking.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
