ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables.Estimating wait times for guests, monitoring the wait list, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.Escort the guest to a table that meets the needs of their party.Help clean off tables when all guests have been seated and there are no guest waiting.This is not an exhaustive list and other duties may be assigned as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITY TO SAFETY
Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests at all times.Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.Drive in accordance with the law and resort policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school, three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMETICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate wait time, using simple math. Count and deduct how many guests are in a group and wheat table they can be seated at.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
