Position Overview:
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to implement, maintain, and support our growing corporate and Information Technology infrastructure within a Microsoft Office 365 GCC High environment. You will be part of the Information Technology Operations team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available Information Technology Systems that meet business objectives service requirements.
This role will be based out of our Chantilly, VA office with travel to sites in Tysons, VA and Washington D.C.
Responsibilities:
Building environments in Active Directory/VMware
Managing and maintaining Data Center systems and Enterprise Applications to include VMWare host, NetApp storage, Windows and Linux servers and various management applications
Monitoring system performance, utilization, and trending to ensure system availability, reliability, redundancy and sufficient capacity
Administrating and maintaining system software to support the system environment (upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations)
Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Coordinating support and maintenance activities with outside vendors and contractors
Working with users and other personnel for problem resolution
Managing client visits including connectivity and presentations
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related subject or equivalent experience
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. Government Security Clearance required
5 years of hands-on systems administration experience with familiarity working with enterprise systems in a highly regulated environment
Demonstrated hands-on experience and/or familiarity with the following:
Microsoft and other Cloud environments, GCC High experience is a plus
Monitoring, diagnostic, analytics, and administration tools
Systems integrations and automation techniques
Networking concepts including switching, routing and firewalls
Understanding of security and compliance; familiarity with NIST 800-53, DISA STIG and CMMC is a plus
CompTIA Security is required
