Associate R&D Specialist (R&D)
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the development of new products and technologies within the R&D group. The role will focus on a specific support area and will facilitate project needs related to that area. Areas of focus may include performance testing, chemical characterization, stability testing, biocompatibility, toxicological assessments, risk assessments, etc.Job Description
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute or otherwise facilitate testing required in support of a product claim.
Author test protocols and reports.
Compile and review test results relative to meet product regulatory testing requirements.
Compile data summaries in support of product claims.
Ensure compliance in all research, data collection, and reporting activities for regulatory requirements related to biocompatibility and R&D product development, design, stability, safety and efficacy.
Required Experience:
Education
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or related field.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (domestic and international).
Preferred Job Requirements:
At least 1 year of R&D or lab experience in healthcare industry.
Knowledge of biocompatibility and general understanding of material physical and chemical properties.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$54,080.00 - $78,520.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
