Spine Triage APP-Neurosurgery (Finance)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Spine Triage APP will review NS referrals, triage spine issues by physical exam, order additional radiology studies as necessary, and determine disposition (schedule with spine physician or place orders for conservative treatment). The purpose of this new program is to reduce the number of non-surgical patients that find their way to the physicians clinic schedule, allowing more availability for surgical patients.MINIMUM:
Master's or Medical degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor.
This position requires graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 464 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64, or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 458 and 459 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64.The University of South Florida is a high-impact global research university dedicated to student success.
