Med Aide/CNA/PCA/Caregiver (Healthcare)
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
Administer medications accurately and safely according to prescribed schedules and procedures under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Monitor residents for any changes in condition and report observations to nursing staff.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding as necessary.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure resident safety and compliance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
Medication Aide certification required.
Experience in a similar role or healthcare setting preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to provide quality care to seniors.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to lift and transfer residents and perform tasks requiring physical dexterity.
Working Conditions:
Shift-based work including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Work environment includes exposure to bodily fluids, medications, and infectious diseases.
Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and transferring residents.
