Inside Sales Representative (Finance)
The Inside Sales Representative conducts outbound calls on a daily basis for the purpose of uncovering opportunities in the form of competitor targets, premium product sales, features, and all forms of the business' products. The calls will be conducted to both existing and new customers from the established sales office. They are responsible for providing customer service and support via phone, fax, and email while building a business relationship between the company and our customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Initiates outbound telephone calls and campaigns to existing and prospective customers to sell products and improve customer satisfaction.
• Ensures existing and potential customers receive regular contact through daily phone calls and documents.
• Coordinates customer credit applications and prepares and processes credit memos as required.
• Routes customers with concerns and problems to the appropriate department.
• Fulfills information requests for literature, etc. for customers when needed.
• Follows up on pending quotes on projects, products, etc.
• Meets or exceeds performance standards for quality and quantity of calls, sales objectives, etc.
• Provides key information regarding customer issues with pricing, product, delivery, literature, etc. to sales manager.
• Creates and maintains positive personal and business relationships with marketing staff, customer service representatives and regional managers.
• Enters all calls into the system immediately and submits sales reports daily to the sales manager.
• Generates leads and initiates quoting process on projects.
• Responds to customer inquiries within 24 hours and resolves customer inquiries with respect to pricing, delivery, basic application, basic technical questions and credit.
• Maintains and updates customer master file.
• Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree in Sales Management, Business Management or related field OR equivalent experience in sales position.
• 3+ years of previous inside sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Occasional travel either locally, and/or nationally may be required.
• High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
COMPENSATION
• $20 per hour base pay
• 5% commission on all new customer sales, providing unlimited earning potential
• Commission bonus to be paid out quarterly

• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.
• Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
