Dairy Sales Consultant - Munson Lakes Nutrition

This position is remote (virtual) and can work from home but must be located within the Howard Lake, MN Region.

Munson Lakes Nutrition, LLC is looking for a dedicated Dairy Nutrition Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide dairy nutrition consulting to dairy clients, managing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes related to animal nutrition and feed manufacturing. This role requires a blend of dairy nutrition knowledge, sales acumen, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Nutrition, Sales & Service: Nutrition consulting services for lactating dairy herds, heifers and calves and beef cattle.
  
• Nutritional Team Support:Assist the sales team with dairy nutritional support, technical details, and customer inquiries to drive sales of animal nutrition products throughout the MLN Nutrition Sales Team.
  
• Client Interaction:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and providing solutions to their livestock production-related questions.
  
• Product Knowledge:Stay updated on the latest animal nutrition products and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant information to clients and the sales team.
  
• Training and Education:Conduct training sessions/workshops for the clients, prospects & sales team members in the various production topics and trends which benefits livestock production.
  
• Data Analysis:Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  
• Marketing Support:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for animal nutrition products.
  
• Compliance:Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  

Qualifications:

• Education:Master's or Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, Business, or a related field.
  
• Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in livestock production, sales support, customer service, or a related role, preferably in the animal nutrition industry.
  
• Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
  
• Knowledge:Understanding of livestock production, animal nutrition and dietary requirements, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  
• Certifications:Relevant certifications in animal nutrition or sales are a plus.

Working Relationships, Autonomy, and Supervision:

The Dairy Nutrition Sales Consultant must interact regularly and appropriately collaborate with all levels of personnel at all Munson Lakes Nutrition. Specifically, this role must have effective, daily contact with all sales, management and office employees. This role has frequent contact with the internal animal nutrition sales team and outside sales personnel and must be able to effectively build and manage these relationships.

The salary range for this role is $69,040 - $103,560
