Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment.
Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, identify wear and failures, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment. Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.
Prepare maintenance reports, documents , and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using EAM.
Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all standard work documentation.
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities.
Education/Certification
High school diploma or equivalent required
Vocational or Technical Degree desired
Work Experience
2-5 years of relevant work experience in a plastics or fabrication environment required
Electrical , Hydraulic , P neumatic troubleshooting experience desired
Shift
12 hour shifts on 2-2-3 schedule , 84 hours bi-weekly.
