Engineer-Flow Assurance, Sr. (Finance)
Primary purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to perform advanced hydraulic/ flow assurance simulation for both Decarbonization/ clean energy surface facilities and pipeline. The successful candidate will be working in the Project Management Engineering team, which provides engineering expertise in the area of Decarbonization/ clean energy pipeline simulation, flow assurance and fluid property calculation for new pipeline and facility systems. Studies will be performed on prospects to develop the CO 2 potential and economics of development which requires close cooperation with facility and pipeline operations and engineering so that costs are generated which allow for economic production.
As a member of the Project Management Engineering team, this position is responsible for technically evaluating the Decarbonization/ clean energy pipeline systems design included CO 2 , NH 3 , and H 2 pipeline systems from a hydraulic/ flow assurance standpoint utilizing industry standard software such as SPS, NextGen, OLGA Transient, MULTIFLASH, and PIPESIM software. This position also will be responsible for advanced CO 2 multi-phase flow hydraulic modeling including surge analysis (relief systems and valve timing), capacity optimization and commercial/business development scenario modeling.
Additionally, this role will assist and mentor other flow assurance/ hydraulic engineers within the group in the areas of peer review, modeling (CO 2 , NH 3 , and H 2 ), and other engineering functions as identified. There will be frequent interaction with commercial/business development teams to evaluate potential expansion and/or acquisition opportunities which will require an ability to deliver, and clearly communicate, any technical analysis in a professional and timely manner, often on a short timeline.Minimum requirements:

Compensation

Compensation: Compensation ranges are provided in good faith based on what we anticipate when researching wages for this position at the state and national levels. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
