Material Handler I (Finance)

TransCore - Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a Material Handler I to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Summary: The Material Handler I performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. This position is for our day shift which is Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Receives incoming goods and moves products into stock, including boxing, storing, etc.
• Counts material returned from Production.
• Pulls material for work orders.
• Audits material pulled for work orders.
• Performs cycle counts as required.
• Counts inventory as required.
• Investigates inventory discrepancies as required.
• Performs a wide variety of ERP transactions to support inventory activity.
• Utilizes ERP system to investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Makes local pick-ups and deliveries as required.
• Offloads/loads trucks as required.
• Operates sit down and stand up forklifts.
• Timely review and responses to emails.

Required Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of related experience
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask.
• Must have excellent communication/customer service skills.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Inventory control
• Kitting experience
• Forklift Operation

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
