Senior Sector Manager (Finance)

Job Summary
Provides complex technical services, field engineering, application troubleshooting and product support activities to Senior Account Managers, National Account Managers, OEM/Direct Sales and CITGO customers. Works with Product Specialists to collaborate on customer solutions. Assists in business development and tactical sales strategy for assigned sectors. Serves as the subject matter expert and consultant for their sector internally and externally. Collaborates with Product Specialists on field trials or other product trials at customers and ensures the insights and data are collected to facilitate testimonials and other supportive collateral. Manage and adapt field work and strategy in alignment with business goals and works with Product Marketing to ensure field information translates into effective testimonials. Provides specialized sector training to sales and customers to support their sector including the Technical Resource Institutes and Lubes School. Works closely with Product Specialists, sales and customers to provide oil analysis interpretation and training. Partners with OEM sales and Product Specialists to seek approvals. Maintains a relationship with key OEMs to ensure access for technical concerns of customers, approvals and market knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Handle sector technical issues, field engineering needs, application troubleshooting and product support activities including coordinating field trials and other product trials. Assist in oil analysis interpretation. Facilitate field problems through close working relationships with marketers and end users.
2. Partner with OEM sales team and Product Specialists on seeking approvals or private label opportunities. Maintain relationships with key OEMs to seek approvals, market information and open communication. Works to develop and identify potential OEM partnership opportunities.
3. Develop and provide specialized sector training for SAMs, National Accounts, OEMs and Marketers to support business development and go-to-market strategy working with the Marketing and Technology teams as necessary to adapt current training or develop new. Serve as the Strategic owner of Lube School and Webinars. Develop and deliver TSRs and LPRs.
4. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Marketers, National Accounts and OEMs on business development and sales tactical strategies for key segments.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends and changes by participating in training schools, seminars and professional organizations. Periodically provide updates on trends and improved technical methods to Technology, Marketing & Sales for example through quarterly technical seminars. Continues to acquire and gain knowledge in the field of Tribology. Serves as a key subject matter expert and voice of the sector externally and internally. Works with Product Marketing Managers and Brand team to adjust go-to-market strategies and marketing content as needed and communicate trends.
6. Communicate the field and end customers perspectives technical intelligence internally. Participates in collecting and monitoring field tests on CITGO products.
