Fair Lending & CRA Analyst (Finance)
Monitor the bank's lending practices to ensure compliance with fair lending laws, including the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Fair Housing Act, and related regulations.
Leverage the bank's third-party software to conduct periodic fair lending risk assessments and data analysis to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with business units to ensure policies, procedures, and training programs address fair lending risks and regulatory requirements.
Community Reinvestment Act Compliance Oversight:
Manage the bank's CRA program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with strategic objectives.
Conduct analyses of the bank's CRA performance, including lending, investment, and service activities, to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in preparing the bank's CRA self-assessment and regulatory examination materials.
Reporting and Documentation:
Develop and maintain fair lending and CRA monitoring reports for management and the Board.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of compliance activities and findings.
Training and Advisory:
Provide training and guidance to business units on fair lending and CRA compliance requirements.
Serve as a subject matter expert to advise on regulatory changes and their impact on the bank's operations.
Collaboration and Engagement:
Work with internal stakeholders to integrate fair lending and CRA compliance into the bank's broader compliance framework.
Engage with external community organizations to identify opportunities for community development and CRA-qualifying activities.
Understands and supports all BSA/AML responsibilities as applicable to the position as well as consistently, accurately, and timely carry out these responsibilities in compliance with the Bank's internal policies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, lending, regulatory oversight or a related field within the banking or financial services industry.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and insurance policies. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Possesses good organizational skills, the ability to read and interpret reports, and work quickly and efficiently while providing the utmost accuracy and attention to detail.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest, etc. and insurance coverage amounts.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Commitment to upholding ethical and regulatory standards in all aspects of work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey regulatory requirements to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is a plus.
