Fuel Attendant (Engineering)
The Ag-Pro Fuel Attendant will be responsible for assisting customers with fueling their vehicles, which includes pumping gas, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness of the station, and providing basic customer service while adhering to safety regulations. Full-time position with benefits.
Job Duties:
Fuel dispensing:
Accurately pumping the requested amount of fuel into customers' vehicles, ensuring the correct fuel type is selected.
GREAT Customer service:
Personable and Friendly greetings to our customers, answering questions about fuel options, and providing a positive experience.
Payment processing:
Accepting cash and credit card payments, providing receipts.
Station upkeep:
Maintaining cleanliness of the gas station grounds, including trash removal, sweeping floors, and wiping down pumps.
Safety procedures: Following safety guidelines regarding fuel handling, spill containment, and proper equipment usage
Additional duties may include:
Checking fluid levels (oil, coolant) in vehicles upon request
Checking tire pressure, cleaning windshields
Selling merchandise from the convenience store within the station
Reporting any issues or maintenance needs to management
Checking Tank Readings at the end of the day.
Job Requirements:
Customer service skills: Ability to interact with customers in a polite and helpful manner
Basic math skills: Accurate cash handling and change calculation
Attention to detail: Ensuring correct fuel type and amount is dispensed
Physical ability: Standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying items
Safety awareness: Understanding and following safety procedures related to fuel handling.
