Software Engineering Advisor (Finance)
This role will be responsible for evaluating and executing on a cloud migration strategy for an on-prem ASP.Net web application and it's related web and windows services. The individual in this role will work closely with Cigna's Cloud COE, the development team and the engineering leadership team to develop a roadmap for the cloud migration. They will then also work on the actual delivery of the application to an approved Cigna CSP. Additionally, this individual will also:

WEB API core
React js
Monitoring and Logging: Advanced knowledge of cloud-native tools like AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, etc.
Serverless Frameworks: AWS Lambda, Serverless Framework.
Microservices: Deep understanding of concepts, architecture, and best practices, especially in a cloud environment.
Security: Familiarity with cloud security best practices, tools, and compliance standards (e.g., AWS IAM, security groups, VPCs).
Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize cloud resources and application performance.
Distributed Systems: Understanding of challenges and best practices in developing and deploying distributed systems.
API Gateways: Knowledge about tools like AWS API Gateway, Kong, etc.
Collaboration Tools: Experience with tools like Confluence, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
